You Are Far More Capable

This is a continuation of a message I have transcribed and edited from a talk Ishvara gave on September 4, 2005. - TG.

Ishvara:

This is very serious business. I know, you may have watched me on video, or read these messages over time, and thought, "He's some kind of nut; he must be recently out of the asylum." Think what you will. I am guilty of not speaking up before now. I am aware of what needs to be said and done; I've been aware for a long time. But I also have been waiting for those who can hear, those who have some understanding to move into this themselves. Control doesn't work. Fear doesn't work. Yet most humans are controlled by fear: fear for survival. Unfortunately, the ruling systems take advantage of that by keeping you locked in fear. You have to wake up.

You have to realize that systems and structures cannot fix the world. Furthermore, systems and structures cannot keep you safe. You are in mortal danger. You can continue to pretend and believe in the myth. Some, such as the New Agers, have changed the myth. They no longer adhere to the old ways, but unfortunately they have created falsehoods that are as devastating as those of the past. The result is no better, just different words.

You must realize that this Life you live is IT. There is no other life. Heaven and hell exist within your mind. God exists in your brain. "God" is a survival mechanism that came into being in the past, when people did not have a means of understanding the universe, didn't have the experience of how energy works. Now that very mechanism has become a terrible stumbling block.

It is unfortunate that those who lead the world cling to the myth, even trying to force science to fit into the myth. It is utterly absurd. Science is the best hope for humanity. Your "God", your belief, your religion, and your spiritual discipline have done nothing to change the world. At best, they have put everything on hold, waiting for some "event" to fix things, waiting for some "savior" to come and make right what is wrong.

I am the end of prophecies. I am the end of a separate life. I am the end. I've known this for a long time. I've been waiting for you to be ready, but I can no longer wait. There is too much suffering, too much devastation, too much destruction. If I wait any longer, there will be nothing left. There will only be a shattered humanity, hiding out in caves or under trees (if there are any trees left). It is a sad state of affairs.

You can no longer hide. It is hard to find the truth, but as long as you cling to a belief, a religion, or a dogma, you delude yourself. It is like wearing a blinder: you can't see what is happening. You look through rose colored glasses: "Everything is love; everything will be fine." It won't be fine. As long as there are beliefs in some "Other," something outside that is supposedly pulling the strings, as long as you believe that you are created by some divine Being, as long as you believe, you are relieved of responsibility for your life. It seems easy when you have beliefs, because you give the power to someone else, letting someone else make the decisions for you, letting other people dictate what you should have faith in, how you should behave.

I call into accountability all religions, all spiritual paths and disciplines. In a recent election in the United States, one group was so afraid of same-sex marriages that they distorted the whole election process, redirecting it into fear and more separation. That is not what you are worthy of. You are far more capable, far more intelligent. Why let myth, why let fear, why let others tell you how you are to be, how you are to live?

I know that within every human being there is awareness, there is connection. I am here to activate that connection, to bring it into the light of awareness. I will not cater to your beliefs and concepts. I will not be conditioned by your wants. The truth is: it is time to wake up, to really see what is happening. There is no blame, but there is guilt: the guilt of complacency, the guilt of separation, the guilt of "faith"--clinging to beliefs and concepts, clinging to the myth, while the world slips into increasing turmoil. That is unconscionable.

Americans imagine themselves to be all powerful. Most believe the government will take care of them, that their best interests are at the core of the government. That is another myth. Look around you: Who profits from the devastation? Who profits from the murder? Who profits from the lies? You don't. You pay the price. So much of humanity is like sheep being led to the slaughter. They think they are going to the park, they think they are going to heaven, to nirvana. They think everything is going to be fine. It can't be fine, as long as there is separation. As long as there is the myth of an outside "God," some creative "Force" pulling the strings, things won't be fine.

The New Consciousness is the era of responsibility: being responsible. You learn it by direct contact with Life, by direct experience. There are so many mythical beliefs: "If you are really good, you can go to heaven; if you are bad, you go to hell." The New Agers didn't like that belief, the Hindus didn't like it either, so they came up with reincarnation: "You will have another opportunity in another life." In other words, you get to come back and try again. The Buddhists believe you come back many, many times to perfect yourself. All of it is a great deception.

Priests, rabbis, and ministers all have contributed to the deception. You may not like to hear this. You really want to believe that you will be OK, that by some divine miracle, some divine intervention, a powerful Being will come and fix everything you have messed up. You are guilty. Perhaps you didn't mess it up yourself, but you sat by and let others make decisions for you. You have let fanatical individuals sway the crowds, manipulate the elections. You sat by, didn't say anything or do anything. You may have listened to friends and relatives propagating nonsense, mythical beliefs and concepts, but you didn't question or say a word to them. Your silence is agreement. That is not being responsible.

Your time, my time, is now. I have had many interesting experiences in waking up, coming into the Natural State, also involving many burdens: burdens of awareness, burdens of feeling-knowing. All of these things have completely obliterated the myth, undone the beliefs and concepts, banished the conditions. I saw Life as-it-is, and I continue to see Life as-it-is.

I was not predestined to come into this awareness. It was not ordained by some deity. Life itself woke me up. I am the son of Life, of existence itself, the bringer of The New Consciousness. Like it or not, I am here, and I have just begun. I have many things to say to you. Most of these things you may not like, but I am not here to give you what you want. My job is to give you what you need.
